About

Born and raised in West Michigan, Matthew Bronkema moved to the Tampa Bay area to attend Eckerd College.  While studying Political Science, Matthew was involved in Eckerd’s NCAA Waterski Team, Pet Council, Elections Committee, and studied abroad in Australia and Africa.  As a lifelong Hurricanes fan, Matthew moved to Coral Gables to attend the University of Miami School of Law.  After graduating in the spring of 2011, Matthew was admitted to the Florida Bar in October of 2011 and returned to the Tampa Bay area.

Upon Matthew’s return, he practiced Creditors’ Rights law throughout the State of Florida, representing various financial institutions in hearings, mediations, and trials.  Matthew joined the Bromagen, Rathet, Klee, & Smith Tampa office in 2023.
