The firm was established in Fort Lauderdale in October, 1995. Prior to that time, Mr. Bromagen handled a variety of product liability and consumer warranty litigation at the prestigious Miami based law firm of Blackwell and Walker, with whom he commenced his career upon graduation from the University of Kentucky School of Law. Elected shareholder in December 1994, Mr. Bromagen represented and tried cases for a number of Fortune 500 clients.

Currently, the firm has offices in Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville and Tampa staffed by eight lawyers and a complement of paralegals, law clerks, and legal assistants. Our client list includes Ford Motor Company, American Honda Motor Company, Inc., Subaru, Big Dog Motorcycles, Regal, Boat Tree, Brandon Ford, Greenway Ford, American Suzuki Motor Corporation, Bentley Motors, Inc., Hyundai Motor America, Land Rover North America, Kia Motors America, Volkswagen of America and Mercedes Benz USA.

The firm represents its clients throughout  Florida and the Jacksonville office also supports litigation in Georgia.

William Bromagen graduated from the University of Kentucky School of Law in 1986. Prior to that, he worked as a commodities trader in a family business for three years subsequent to graduation from the University of Kentucky, where he matriculated with a bachelor’s degree in history.

Mr. Bromagen has handled many diverse litigation matters in his twenty five year career, including insurance defense, aviation tort, product liability, plaintiff’s personal injury, medical malpractice and collections.

Brooks Rathet, born in Valley Stream, New York, March 5, 1968, became partner with William L. Bromagen, P.A. June 1, 2007. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Rathet worked in the legal field for 10 years handling myriad diverse cases. His experience includes Commercial Litigation, Warranty Law, Media and First Amendment Law, Professional Liability, Insurance Subrogation, Insurance Defense and Personal Injury Law.

Mr. Rathet obtained his B.A. degree from the University of Virginia in 1990. Thereafter, he acquired a J.D. and M.A. from the University of Florida in 1995. Mr. Rathet is now a member of the Florida Bar, Georgia Bar, District of Columbia Bar, New York Bar and the Duval County Bar Association. He has also been admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida; the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Florida; the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida; and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit.
